Throughout WW2 the Germans incorporated captured enemy tanks into their armored units, particularly on the Eastern Front where captured Russian tanks helped sustain the Wehrmacht.

The Panzer 747(r) is a beutepanzer, a T-34 captured by the Germans and modified for their use. The base is a 1941-1942 T-34 with a cast turret.
