Highly detailed kit for converting the Airfix Ferret Mk2 to the configuration as used by French forces in Africa.
Between 1956 and 1960 France acquired around 200 Ferrets for use in North Africa, notably Algeria. Subsequently some of these Ferrets were modified to carry 75mm M20 recoilless rifle to provide mobile fire support throughout the late 50s and 60s.
The contents of this kit contains parts for converting the 1/35 Airfix Ferret Mk2.
